April dela Noche Milne is a Filipino-Canadian illustrator and writer. April studied Fine Arts at Langara College, graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University, and completed The Writers Studio program at Simon Fraser University. The artist for the graphic novel The Blue Road: A fable of migration and the children’s book The Imperfect Garden, she was one of the contributors to the Cloudscape comics anthology The Witching Hours. Through illustration and comics her work explores grief and memories, the humour of everyday narratives, and issues of identity.
