Access Gallery Board of Directors: Call for Members

Access Gallery is platform for emergent and experimental art practices. We enable critical conversations and risk taking through new configurations of audience, artists and community. We are 23 year old not-for-profit artist run centre and a committed member of PAARC, located in Vancouver’s Chinatown. The Governance Committee is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Board of Directors.

Board meetings are held on a regular basis, and members volunteer additional time sitting on committees, fundraising and attending Gallery openings and events. Directors may not apply for solo exhibitions while serving on the board and are expected to hold their positions for two years.

The Board is comprised of a group of artists and professionals. In acknowledgement of its mandate, Access is committed to maintaining diversity on the Board and encourages applications from people in underrepresented communities. Ideal candidates will have a broad range of skills and experiences, including social and professional networks, design, fundraising and development.
