AGM 2020

Sat 19 Sep 2020 2–3PM

The 2020 Annual General Meeting will take place online through Zoom. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

Join us to review the past year’s programming, operations, accomplishments, and challenges, and to discuss Access’s direction for the upcoming year. 2019-20 was an active year of thoughtful programming including solo and group exhibitions by both local and visiting artists, active PLOT programming, and meaningful collective conversations. COVID-19 has changed many aspects of our daily lives, and as a result we unfortunately won't be able to picnic again with you this year. We look forward to gathering in person when we can.

With gratitude as guests, Access is located on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Access additionally recognizes its location in Vancouver’s Chinatown, an area for the gathering of predominantly Cantonese-speaking Chinese labourers, settlers, and businesses since the nineteenth century. Our gallery borders the site of Hogan’s Alley, an important home to Vancouver’s Black population until their forced displacement through the construction of the Georgia viaduct fifty years ago.
