Access Gallery invites you to our most important fundraiser of the year! Pivots and Spins celebrates recent shifts and changes at Access: a major gallery expansion and renovation and the welcoming of our new Director/Curator Katie Belcher. Recently arrived from the East Coast, Katie is eager to meet the Access community! Promising to be our most exciting auction yet, Pivots and Spins features spectacular work generously donated by over 50 local and international emerging and established artists including Kathleen Ritter, Sandra Semchuk, Derya Akay, Cindy Mochizuki and others. Continuing a tradition first established at our 2015 auction, we will also include a mystery artist whose identity will only be revealed through bidding. The support of members, donors, and participants like you at this important fundraiser continue to make it possible for the gallery to support compelling and critically engaged emergent practices. Join us as we warm the new Access Gallery space and look to the coming year!
Admission is $25, and includes membership at Access Gallery for the calendar year. Entry is free for current members. Memberships can be purchased for $25 at the event or online here
Absentee bids will be accepted until 5PM, Saturday, November 18, 2017. To place an absentee bid or make another enquiry email Director/Curator Katie Belcher at k.belcher@accessgallery.ca.
