Meera Eragoda is a diasporic Tamil settler who hails from the teardrop shaped island of Sri Lanka. They are gratefully based on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. A writer and poet with a penchant for thinking about the things that don’t belong and the in-between spaces where they’re found anyway, their work is currently exploring the art of (re)creation, (re)arranging, and (re)discovery of self. Outside of that, they enjoy dreaming about collective futures, a good croissant, biking as a form of pleasure activism, and trying to befriend people with dogs.
