PARCEL: Cultural Work on Skwachàys

We're excited to announce the first instalment of PARCEL, a digital anthology considering Access Gallery’s place as a cultural venue at the crossroads of multiple histories, neighbourhoods, and waterways. In 2023, we invited artists and writers to consider our layered role as an artist-run centre in Chinatown. Our first offering, a poem by Kitty Cheung (@kitscatastrophe), follows elders through Chinatown’s changing food landscape, lingering in the cash-only cafés that serve as sites of connection.
