Dawn Johnston: All Lost

All Lost, which features a poetic text by Zuzanna Juszkiewicz, accompanies Dawn Johnston's solo exhibition of the same name (May 24 – July 20, 2013). For the exhibition, Johnston constructed a 1:1 scale replica of a shipping container within Access’ gallery space using wood and gold plated screws. This work, which only just fits within the confines of the gallery, calls upon several points of reference of the sea, artifacts, sailing, and memory. The publication includes images of Johnston's work and an essay Soundless Tragedy by Zuzanna Juszkiewicz.
