Our Work Is These Conversations is a three-episode podcast that accompanies Conditional Belonging, a multi-media exhibition that foregrounds nuanced personal and communal narratives while enabling a temporary belonging for alternative ways of being, knowing, and making.
Named after a quote from the exhibiting work Ideal School Project (2014) by Taryn Goodwin, and facilitated by Rebecca Wang 王晨釔, this podcast will air during the course of the exhibition with transcripts available.
In Episode 1 — A Gentle Form of Activism, social practice artist and community organizer Taryn Goodwin and artist, photographer Neena Robertson talk about access, learning (from our bodies and the land), (displacement) of labour, self-care in institutions and their practices.
