Access Gallery is bidding farewell to Director & Curator Katie Belcher. It’s a bittersweet moment for us; we’re very sad to see her go after six years of committed service, but we’re excited to cheer her on as she continues to build her practice as an independent curator and visual artist.
Access Gallery denounces the ongoing brutalization of Palestinians by Israel. We stand firmly against all forms of racism, anti-Arab, anti-Muslim, and anti-Semitic violence, and call for critical attention, awareness, and action against this ongoing colonial violence.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting a smaller fundraiser concurrent to Night Howl throughout the month of October. Four board members will open limited spots to digitally illustrate you… as a ghost!

As we enter into flu and respiratory season, in light of the ongoing prevalence of COVID-19, but taking into consideration BC's public health measures, we are keeping a policy where masks are encouraged at the gallery.
The word “plot” describes a small parcel of land, designated for a specific purpose. It refers to a sequence of events that drives a story. To “plot” can mean to chart one’s position, as on a map, or to devise a secret plan or scheme. Read more about PLOT here.

In light of the ongoing risks of the COVID-19 pandemic, the recent new variants, and taking into consideration BC's public health measures, the Staff and the Board of Access Gallery have discussed our concerns and decided to continue our slow approach to our organizational health measures through the spring.
